Introduction to Ayurveda
Includes understanding basic concepts of Ayurveda like, Panchamahabhootas (Five Elements), Tridoshas (Three Energies), Saptadhatu (Seven BodyTissues), Trimalas (Three Waste products), Agni (Digestive Fire), AMA (Toxins) understanding concept of prakruti (constitution), prakruti parikshana (Constitutional Analysis).
Studying all the concepts & principles for better understanding of the subject.


(DIP.A.M.-2) AYURVEDIC ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY
(SHARIR RACHANA & SHARIR KRIYA)

Understanding the body’s anatomy & Physiology to have better understanding
of the body on which massage is to be done.
Marma points (Vital energy points) on the body.


(DIP.A.M-3) AYURVEDIC HERBS, OIL, ESSENTIALS OF PHARMACY & THEREPEUTICS.

Study of important herbs in Ayurveda.
Study of method of preparation of oils.
Essentials of pharmacy, Panchakashaya Kalpana etc.
Some important formulations used for massage.
E.g. Narayan oil, Chandanbalalakshadi oil, Vishagarbha oil, Madhavi oil, Anu oil etc.

Ayurvedic Massage
Detail information about History of Ayurvedic Massage, Benefits, Techniques of Massage, Time of Massage, Indications & contradictions for massage.


(DIP. A.M.-5) THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Essential of basic Diagnosis :
Study of Important Diseases where massage used as Therapy.
Specific method of Massage, Time, Oils to be used in each condition.
